Abrasive Wheel Appointed Person

This course is of Half Day Duration

This Unique course covers the legal requirements in PUWER for training operatives who need to use and change abrasive wheels on cutting and grinding machines.

It covers Non-Precision Hand Held :- cutting and grinding machines from 4.5″ up to 9″  12″ concrete cutting petrol & electric machines, and 14″ Chop Saws.

If your employees are involved in selecting, mounting, dismounting, maintaining or inspecting abrasive wheels, this one day course will be invaluable.

12 inch Petrol Driven Concrete Cutting Saw

This course is of Three Hours Duration

A short course to train you how to safely use the 12 inch petrol saw – possibly the most common hand held powered cutting tool used on a construction site, and one of the most dangerous! Learn how to avoid injury by attending this equipment safety course.

Satisfies the requirements of the Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
